Robert Lambert Wins West Hill County Card Event
Tuesday 5th April saw a near full field of 70 players head out to play at the fabulous West Hill Golf Club in the first County Card event of the year. The event was a two tee start and the starters for the day were Surrey President, Terry Casey & Surrey Chairman, Alan Page.
The players thoroughly enjoyed the 18 holes which were in perfect condition. The scores coming in were as equally impressive.
Once play had finished, all players changed and sat down for a wonderful carvery with a delicious dessert buffet to follow.
Onto the prizes:
6th place – Ed Boyd (Coombe Wood) 36 points
5th Place on CB – Dave Phelan (Kingswood) 36 points
4th Place – Simon Armstrong (Mitcham) 37 points
3rd Place on CB – Barry Parmenter (Banstead Downs) 37 points
2nd place on CB – Charlie Mills (Coombe Hill) 37 points
1st Place – Robert Lambert (Kingswood) – 41 points
Surrey Golf would like to thank all the staff at West Hill GC for the fantastic service and friendly reception. The course was in fantastic condition and the food was spectacular as always.
The next County Card event will be at Burhill GC on Thursday 5th May. There are a limited number of spaces left for this event which are first come first served.
