Purpose and Aim:

The Surrey U18 squad is the pinnacle of junior golf at County level and prepares the boys for their future golf careers, whether it be at local, national or international level. Many of our U18 squad move on to US collegiate golf scholarship programmes. Surrey aim to support the boys through the transition, and will help where possible with our vast amount of contacts in the game both in the UK and the US.

Training:

The squad take part in a guided training programme led by our Surrey Head Coach, with training sessions throughout the year.

Matches & Competitions:

There are numerous matches & competitions held throughout the year at both County and National level. The main focus is around the South East Group (SEG) U18 League. Additionally, we support the boys to compete at the highest national individual competitions, such as England Golf's Carris Trophy.

Get Involved:

We are always looking at new players and whether you have been involved at County level before or not, we monitor the progress of County juniors through Surrey Championships and other national competitions, which the U18 management team and coaches will attend. However, if you feel you are good enough for the U18 squad then please do not hesitate to contact us!
