Congratulations to Luke Metcalf (Surrey) and Holly Justice (Surrey) on becoming English Schools Golf Association South Region Champions 2024 at Burhill Golf Club .
Well played to Izzy Codling (Middlesex) and Lucas Dennison (Kent) on 2nd places in the Girls and Boys events, and to Jasmine Kandlekar (Surrey) and Joshua Thompson (Surrey) on 3rd places.
Many thanks to Burhill Golf Club for their fantastic hospitality and providing two great courses for the players to enjoy. Everyone really appreciated the challenge.
And a huge thank you to all the helpers - without you it wouldn't be possible to run these events.
The top ten boys and top five girls in this event progress to the ESGA National finals at Stanmore Golf Club on Monday 24th June 2024.
Finally, apologies for the weather! Everyone played really well considering it rained for most of round 1 on the Old course and then got a bit breezy with some more rain for round 2 on the New course.
