COUNTY CARD SCHEME 2024
The County Card has been included as part of the Surrey Golf and Surrey Ladies Golf Association Affiliation Fee for several years now with every affiliated member being issued a plastic card. However, effective immediately we will no longer be issuing a physical card, but instead the County Card will be available online via the igCounty app. The igCounty app can be downloaded via the App Stores on your phone, this app will work on both Apple and Android devices.
For details on how to download and setup the App please click here.
It should be noted that the online County Card is only available to members holding a WHS Handicap Index.
Renewal of your County Card
Each year your County Card will expire on the 31st December and you will need to renew it, assuming you are still a member of a Surrey Club. In order to do this, simply click the renew button at the bottom of the page, re-enter your details and click renew. If for any reason you do not have the renew button then please delete the app and reinstall.
The app also offers a host of other features, including news, upcoming competitions, results and both the Men's and Ladies County Organisations contact details.
The app provides a list of all affiliated Surrey Clubs. However, please note this is not the list of clubs participating in the scheme by offering discounted green fees, these clubs can be found by selecting Surrey to the right of this page. Subject to certain Terms & Conditions, the County Card may also be used to obtain reduced green fees at clubs elsewhere in the country and a list of those participating Counties and Clubs can also be found to the right by clicking on the County the club falls within.
The scheme only operates from Monday to Friday and does NOT include Bank Holidays.
Members wishing to play a club as part of the County Card scheme MUST BOOK at least 48 hours in advance through the Club Secretary or Club Professional. The Club will advise the fee, starting time and the available tees.
The County Card holder must be able to provide their membership number (previously known as the CDH number) if requested.
The participating club reserves the right to refuse visiting players and/or their guests. Members visiting clubs with guests must be responsible for their guests and the guests shall pay the fee requested by the club.
Members must produce their online County Card and identification at the appropriate club to the person collecting the green fee. The County Card is not transferable, and any member found abusing the Scheme will be refused access to reciprocal clubs and be subject to Surrey Golf disciplinary procedures, as set out under the Rules.
Green fee reduction is by arrangement with the Host Club. Booking Terms & Conditions are at the discretion of the club.
If you do not have access to a smartphone you can request a physical card, but this must be done via your golf club office and the card will be sent direct to the club for you to pick up.
