Hankley Common County Card Event
After the torrential weather on the Monday, we did wonder whether the day would go ahead but we needn't have worried as the sun graced us with it's presence and the green staff at Hankley Common worked their magic and the course was, as expected, in excellent condition.
Maurice from Coombe Hill Golf Club having never played at Hankley Common decided that today would be his day and he just pipped Peter Burtonshaw from Dulwich & Sydenham Hill into first place.
The results from the day were as follows:
- Winner - Maurice Joseph - Coombe Hill 38 points
- Runner up - Peter Burtonshaw (Dulwich & Sydenham Hill) 38 points
- Third Place - Asad Khan (David Lloyd Club Hampton) 37 points
- Fourth Place - Bruce Maskell (Surbiton) 37 points
- Fifth Place - Michio Ando (The Addington) 36 points
- Sixth Place - Michael Hagan (Dulwich & Sydenham Hill) 36 points
- Nearest the pin 2nd - John Dawson (Hampton Court)
- Nearest the pin 16th - David Booth (Silvermere)
