6. County Card Foursomes Knockout

Open to any pair of individual Members of Surrey Golf who belong to an affiliated Club (N.B. Players do not need to belong to the same Club)

All players must have a WHS approved handicap on the day of the event.

Home Clubs are reminded that it is normal etiquette to allow the members of the Away Team to play a practice round at a rate equal to or less than the members’ introduced guest rate.

The competition will be a knockout over 18 holes match play foursomes. In each match the handicap allowance will be ½ of the full difference between the aggregate Playing Handicaps of either pair on the day of the match.

Each away player will receive one extra shot added to their handicap before calculation of stroke allowance. If any away player is also a golfing member of the home Club, no extra shot is allowed. Also see Rules 18 & 19.

Round 1 Top Team is Home
Round 2 Bottom Team is Home
Round 3 Top Team is Home
Quarter Final Bottom Team is Home - To be played by 6th June
Semi Final Top Team is Home (please note: the semi finals are to be played at a neutral venue so semi finalists are requested to swap venues i.e. top semi finalists to swap venue with bottom semi finalists)
