Surrey players help England Golf to secure the Boys and Girls Title at the Home Internationals
The boys and girls Home Internationals took place at Conwy in Wales with four Surrey players selected to represent England Golf:
- Monty Holcombe (Walton Heath)
- Oscar Lent (Walton Heath)
- Annabel Peaford (Walton Heath)
- Matilde Santilli (Foxhills)
This is the fourth consecutive year that England Golf has retained the titles.
Monty Holcombe was one of the top players picking up 4.5 points from a possible 6, Oscar picked up 3.5. Matilde picked up 2.5 from 5 and Annabel 2. Monty and Oscar go on to play in the boys R&A Amateur Championships and Annabel and Matilde the girls R&A Amateur Championships which take place at Moortown Golf Club and Alwoodley Golf Club from the 12th August until the 17th.
Elsewhere, Farnham's Lottie Woad helped England Women win their Home Internationals at Murcar Links, Scotland, where Lottie picked up 3.5 from 6 points available.
Surrey Golf are incredibly proud of all these players and wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.
