Surrey Golf AGM 2025
Whilst a Club may only have a maximum of two people attend the actual AGM, any affiliated male adult member of Surrey County Golf Ltd is welcome to join us for the County lunch, the cost this year is £35, places will be on a first come first served basis
The running order is as follows:
- 10:00am Tea / Coffee on arrival
- 10:30am AGM start
- 11:30am AGM finish
- 12:00pm 3 course lunch followed by guest speaker; this year we have DP World Tour player James Morrison.
James Morrison captured his first European Tour title at the 2010 Madeira Islands Open, having graduated from the Challenge Tour the previous year. Won his second title in 2015 at the Open de España. He has played 15 consecutive full seasons on the DP World Tour.
Took an unusual route to the top of European golf, not seriously playing the game until he was 16.
Until that point had focused on cricket, playing in the same England youth teams as Alastair Cook, Ravi Bopara and Tim Bresnan, but went from an 18 handicap to scratch in less than a year and earned a golf scholarship to the University of South Carolina.
He was a member of the Surrey County Team that won the English Men’s County Finals in 2004.
First played professionally on the EuroPro Tour and then the European Challenge Tour, having turned professional after the 2006 Qualifying School.
