Bob Lacy wins the England Golf Volunteer of the Year Award
The awards evening took place at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester on the 2nd April.
Bob was shortlisted for the Volunteer of the Year Award along with two other volunteers, Peter MacLeod from Bidston Golf Club and Jo Taylor from Cheadle Golf Club both based in Cheshire.
Bob has played a pivotal role in the growth of junior golf in Surrey and is respected by players and parents alike. As if managing the Rookie and JAGS Tours were not enough Bob also manages our U14's, U13's and U12's teams plus the the Surrey Schools Championships.
Surrey Golf would like to thank Bob for his dedication over the last 12 years and look forward to see what 2025 has in store for him.
And as if one award for Surrey wasn't enough, Lottie Woad also from Farnham Golf Club won the Performance of the year.
