
On Sunday 11th May the second U14 League match of 2025 was played at Willingdon Golf Club in Sussex. The Surrey team drew 5-5 with Hampshire, and won 7-3 against Sussex. The Hampshire-Sussex match went in Hampshire’s favor at 8-2.
Match 1 saw Harry Wang produce an emphatic 7&6 win over Sussex and a 3&2 win against Hampshire.
Match 2 saw Surrey win another 2 points, with Lucas Taylor Rea taking 7&6 and 6&4 victories over Sussex and Hampshire respectively.
Match 3 brought two 3&1 losses for Harry Barclay.
Harry Norris, in Match 4, recorded a 5&4 win over Sussex, though lost 3&1 to Hampshire.
In Match 5, Aurelius Lynarko brought home 2 points, with a 2up win against Sussex and a 6&4 win over Hampshire.
Match 6 gave Surrey another 2 points, with Myles Young taking 5&4 and 2&1 victories over Sussex and Hampshire respectively.
Brian Kim, playing in Match 7 was defeated by both counties, losing 2&1 to Sussex and 3&1 to Hampshire.
Match 8 saw Yumin Do win 2up against Sussex, but lose 2&1 to Hampshire.
Jack Robinson, in Match 9, lost 2&1 to Sussex, but brought home a 3&1 victory over Hampshire.
Match 10 resulted in Josh Jackson winning 4&2 against Sussex, but losing 3&1 to Hampshire.
So after another hotly contested day of golf, Surrey scored a total of 12 Game points and 3 Match points.
