2026 Men's Order of Merit Events - click on the links below for entry forms

The 2026 Surrey Masters is going to be played on Sunday 18th October at Burhill Golf Club.

Order of Merit Rules and Qualificiation Criteria:

Players who are members of an affiliated Surrey Golf Club and have their handicap index held at that Club will be automatically entered into the Order of Merit, for which there is no entry fee or any other requirement.

The Open Scratch Strokeplay Events that qualify for the Order of Merit are selected and approved each year by Surrey Golf.

Should the field in any such 18- or 36-hole Individual Open Scratch Strokeplay Event be such that one-third or more of the starting field has a playing handicap on the day of 2 or less, then that event is designated a 'Major Individual Strokeplay Event'.

The 6 County Champions (Amateur, Colts, Mid-Age, Seniors, and Foursomes) are joined by the top 9 players in the Order of Merit to bring the field for the Surrey Amateur Masters to 15 players.

In the event of a tie for the 15th place, this is resolved by relative positions in the County Championship Qualifying Competition, and then (but only as far as is necessary to resolve the tie), in the most recent Major Individual Stoke Play Event(s).

2026 Junior Order of Merit Qualifying Junior Opens

Please see below the dates and venues of the Surrey Club Junior Opens that are qualifying events for the 2026 Surrey Junior Boys' Order of Merit. Please click on the links provided to be taken to the relevant entry forms.

Junior Order of Merit Rules and Qualificiation Criteria:

All junior boys who are members of an affiliated Surrey Golf Club and have their handicap index held at that Club will be automatically entered into the Junior Order of Merit, for which there is no entry fee.

In order to be eligible to accumulate points on the Order of Merit, a player must have a handicap index of 36.0 or less.

Points are awarded to the top six Surrey affiliated players in the Surrey Club Junior Opens in both the scratch and handicap categories.

Players may enter as many of the Qualifying Junior Open events as they wish, but only the  BEST FIVE RESULTS at these events will count.

Points will be awarded for each event as follows:

1st = 10pts, 2nd = 7pts, 3rd = 5pts, 4th = 3pts, 5th = 2pts, 6th = 1pt 

After the points from the last Qualifying Junior Open of the season have been added to the Order of Merit, the top four boys in both the Scratch & Handicap Order of Merits will be invited to play in the Surrey Junior Masters, along with the winners of the events listed below, who are given an automatic invitation to the Surrey Junior Masters.

The Junior Masters at the end of the season will count as the final qualifier in addition to the previous five qualifying events. These six results will determine the final Order of Merit standings in both the scratch and handicap categories.

In 2026, the Surrey Junior Masters is being played at Burhill Golf Club.
