Surrey Golfer AJ Van Emmenis wins the Hazards Salver

The Carris Trophy is the English Boys' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and is open to golfers aged under 18 on the 1 January of the year of the championship, played by 72 holes of stroke play over four days.

144 competitors play 18 holes on each of the first two days. After 36 holes the leading 60 competitors and all those tying for 60th place shall play a further 18 holes on the third day, followed by a re-draw and a final 18 holes on the fourth day.

The Hazards Salver is awarded to the leading GB&I player under the age of 16 at The Carris Trophy. AJ shot scores of 71, 70, 71 and 69.
