Gray triumphs at Hankley
The sun was shining at Hankley Common for the Individual Stableford County Card Meeting on Tuesday 30th September.
The players were treated to a wonderful day on the picturesque heathland where the golf course looked and played at it's best. Despite some battles with the heather and speedy greens everyone had an enjoyable day with many asking to go back out and play again! Always a good sign, especially given the wonderful carvery that was waiting for them.
The Trophy up for grabs was the Autumn Meeting Cup which felt a little odd given the temperature. There were also two nearest the pins on holes 2 and 16.

Nearest the pin on hole 2: Bruce Maskell (Surbiton)
Nearest the pin on hole 16: Richard McGibbon (Royal Mid-Surrey)
3rd place with 30 points on countback: Bruce Maskell (Surbiton)
2nd place with 32 points: Jack Macey (Betchworth Park)
Winner with 37 points: Richard Gray (Surbiton)
