Aaron Moody achieves selection for the England Boys Squad!

Aaron enjoyed a wonderful season in both his Surrey and England shirt, helping both sides win the SEG League and Home Internationals respectively. He particularly enjoyed his travels to Scotland winning both the Scottish Boys Championship and the SSGT Championship while also achieving success closer to home at Farnham and Walton Heath where he finished 2nd in the England U18 Championship and London Amateur Foursomes.

Everyone at Surrey Golf is really proud of everything Aaron has achieved this year and we are excited to see what 2026 holds for the England superstar!

Below is from England Golf on the recent squad announcement.

England Golf Men’s Performance Manger Ben Gorvett said: “All players selected to be a member of this elite group have had a season to be proud of and now they have the opportunity to advance their game further through a competitive environment and support from world-class coaches.

“2025 saw many success stories up and down the country and many players put their hands up to be in this position, which is credit to all the work going on from the top to the bottom of our pathway. These men and boys have demonstrated they have the talent to wear the Rose on their chest, and the attitudes to do it proud. They understand that being in this squad is a privilege, but they have the confidence to know they deserve it.

“This thriving environment of technical and performance coaching, psychological support, and strength and conditioning and nutrition support, will form the foundation of their amateur careers and their life in the professional ranks - we want to develop and produce world-beaters. Alongside their inclusion in this thriving environment, their work ethic and determination will be a key factor in their success next season and the bond they create will be a contributing factor to the success of England.

“We are proud to have yet another great cohort of golfers, but more importantly, people who will go on to do great things and inspire the next generation.”
